I know I've posted something very similar to this a few weeks ago. Back then I was only planning. Now, it's time to get a 4 rotor. Funding has been taken care of thanks to my dad who's willing to do anything it takes. (Lawyer's salary.) If anyone knows someone who has made a 4 rotor that does (or can) meet the criteria of a) being fuel injected, and b) ready to turbocharge, please let me know. I've searched for several months now with nothing turning up. If anyone has any information, please, let me know.

Seriously what in the hell are you going to do with a boosted r26b? The car will make power that you will never be able to use. Stupid if you ask me. **** a 20b with a decent turbo will more power than you will ever need. Whatever man..

I should've known this would come. This isn't going to be even streetable. Serious drag competitions only. It's a father-son thing since he's a car nut and I'm a rotor nut. We'll only race for money and to quote my father: "I'm not going to half-*** any of this, it's going to have a 4 rotor or it won't be used to race." I can always let him on here sometime to see how serious he is... (In fact, he's worse than me about the whole thing.)

Well throwing money at something doesn't necessarily mean it's a smart thing to do. What type of drag racing history do you two have if you don't mind me asking?

Never really asked him...I should though and you make an interesting point with that. However, do you have any helpful information to contribute?

Look you guys have no real experience with racing. Yet you want to come on here and ask about building up a four rotor engine. Anyone who was serious would have contacted Pettit, PFS, SP engineering, SRMotorsports or some other reputable rotary shop and inquired with them instead of posting it in the forum. You and your dad obviously do not currently know how to do what you are talking about. If you did you two would have started on something more realistic then a r26b. Why don't you try launching a 13b with a decent 60 ft then get back to us. How about you and your limitless funds call a professional shop like a "serious drag competitor" would do. No offence..

I wanted to also add something before I move this from 3rd gen forum since it doesn't belong in here anyway. Here is a excerpt from an interview with Abel Aberra taken from rotarynews.com

Q: Abel, when are you going to a 4 rotor?

-- Shane from NZ / www.lightningrotors.co.nz

A: I really don?t know. I still feel that 3-rotor development is not really tapped out yet. But, I am looking at the 4-rotor combination.

edit

Ok so "A" top rotary drag racer still does not use a 4-rotor. That should tell you something. Anyway as I mentioned this thread has nothing to do with 3rd gens so away you go. Best of luck to you, your dad, his endless supply of cash and your 4 rotors.

Make sure you brag about "money is no object" BEFORE you ask the price.
