Started my 1st gen. 12a rebuild project today and wouldnt you know it the very 1st step of removing my intake manifold the damn lower nut on the intake manifold stripped. Tried everything so I drilled the bitch out! My question now is is it okay to just drill out the rest of the screw and tap a new bolt in there? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Go buy a helicoil metric kit. The bolt is probably M8x?? hrm... actually i'm not sure what the treads would be... go find a thread pitch gauge. Make sure you get the KIT as it contains the correct drill bit size to drill the helicoil, and hte installation tool. Use the supplied drill bit to finish drill out that bolt. Be very careful you keep the bit and the drill exactly perpendicular to the surface you are drilling. Follow all instructions in the kit and you should be fine
