Stripped Screw
I was working on my 87 FC and I realized that i needed to change the coolant. So i put the car on some ramps and started to begin the drain process. But to my dismay i realized that the drain plug on the radiatior was stripped. The screw is plastic and I am having lots of difficulty getting it off. What is the easiest way to remove the screw without having to get a whole new radiatior. Any sugestions or advice is highly appreciated.

All over the ground. Can you get a drill in there? If you carefully drill a hole in the center, enough to weaken the plastic plug you should be able to break it out of there without messing up the threads.
Well. guys dont worry about me. I realized that all I needed to do was heat a flathead screwdriver up with a blow torch and make a new slot. Once hot enough the screw driver went in like butter and made a nice new slot for the flat head. I would reccommend that approach for any stripped plastic screw. Thanks for your help though.
