So water is getting into the oil. Take a close look at that front plate. put some water in it as I suggested. I wonder if you dont have a pinhole in one of the frost plugs.....????

Nope no oil contamination just white smoke.

I do have an update. Seems the owner remembered the throttle body modifacation someone did has set off the water light before. So after work im going home to bypass the t-body and crank it to see whats up. It just runs too smooth to have a big problem like coolant seals.

Chris, I know which Zach you're talking about. Sorry to hear that his car is being such a pain. I'll tell you what. Send Erin out here for a week and we'll take her through wine country and she can relax a bit. That should help.

update ok she is keeping colant pressure in the system it runs great, just large white puffy clouds out the tail pipes.

I wonder, when it came to me it was actually pumping liquid coolant out the tail pipes. I wonder if mufflers have coolant in the packing? Im going to let it run for a while and see if it sets the coolant light on.

update, plugs look good so i think its all in the exhaust now and im just going to have to burn it out.

(when the car 1st came to me there was a hole in the rear iron about 1/2 inch in dia. But it would run and you could litterally watch coolant come out of the tail pipes.... borla exhaust system)

Soo im going to drive it down the interstate and put some breakin mileage on it.

uupdate, its now 10pm I have put 50 miles on the 7. It drives good coarse Ihavnt gotten over 1/3 throttle or about 3700 rpm. However on the interstate "I am SPYHUNTER or 007 with smoke screen stuck in the on position". Illcheck the plugs again tommorrow and coolant level but I think its all in the mufflers now. Zach says It should be really loud and it sound bone stock. He has a high flow borla cat back system on it.

Nothing like a liquid silencer.

Chris, glad to see that you got it sorted out. Well, most of the way anyway. I'll give you guys a call this weekend and we can catch up a bit. I still have Erin's cell number from last time we talked.

And by the way. Go into the 1st gen section and check out my thread. "My New Project" is the name of it. You can see my new baby in there.

yeah i remember back in the day a buddy had a turbo fail on the fd (shaft broke, compressor wheel stayed, turbine wheel and shaft was just gone) so anyways it put 4.5 qts of oil thru the exhaust, and it took WEEKS to burn off.
