Alright need some help here hopefully its easy to follow along with.



I have a -

good front S4 Turbo2 Housing

good front FD Housing

good s5 turbo2 front, intermediate, rear plates

2 good s5 turbo2 rotors

good s5 turbo2 E-shaft

full s5 turbo2 rebuild kit apex seals, side seals, corner bla bla bla



Can i turn this into a motor for my s5 t2? I'm trying to build a backup motor and have a whole s5 t2 motor, except the housings. I was hoping I could use the front s4 t2 and front FD housing without problems, i'd have them ported to the same size exhaust port.



Also, I *MIGHT* have a good rear FD housing, could i use the 2 FD housings with all the S5 T2 stuff and be fine?

I think you would have an issue bolting the intake manifold on with the Fc/FD parts.

 

Spark plug hole locations are different between S4 - S5 and later housings.

 

Yeah, absolutely.

 

meh i guess we'll see when i get all the parts into one pile.
