ok so i tore my engine down and come to find out a lot of **** is wrong ALOT but my main question is why the fudge is there a hole drilled in my intake port that goes all the way up to my water jacket and on my secondarys the two ports are drilled into each other was he trying to make one BIG port? i heard making one big secondary is not a good idea. i want to get as far up as i can then block it with some of racing beats stuff but what is the port length limit as far as how far up i can go with the square end of the port?

Take a picture. It sounds normal to me. There is supposed to be a hole of about 1/4" in the port between the secondary and auxillary ports on the end housing. And if the engine was a S4 n/a, the holes inthe primary ports on the center housing are the EGR passages.
