Interesting Holes I Came Across

I am in the process of disassembling my engine and came across two holes that aren't quite stock. First hole is machined through the throttle body and the second is maching through the exhaust manifold. Anyone seen these before?

isnt the hole in the tb for the idle air control? and i would guess the hole in the manifold was used for an egt sensor

But the hole in the manifold isn't tapped .....

I just took my exhaust manifold off this weekend. I don't remember seeing those holes. They can't be factory
