I have a fresh rebuild. trying to start it... when it starts it goes to high revs... fuel injected NO Emissions crap N327 ECU if that matters... all throttle body butterflies are closed and we seem to be getting 5000 rpms ...... any thoughts...

 

OK now it starts and runs..... its reving from 1500rmps to 4000rpms over and over.... wont calm down to qn idle... sure does sound sweet though....

 

TPS calibration and or an unmetered air leak is causing the surging

warm the engine and use the set couple to set timing and claibrate the TPS lower than 1K ohms
