when installing series 5 rotors in place of series 4, you also need the front counterweight from a series 5, correct? or is it not absolutely necessary?

thanks

Both the front and rear counterweights are required. If you don't do the full swap then you'll have alot of problems.

Both the S5 FC and the FD flywheels will work. If you go with a lightweight flywheel then you'll just need an 89-85 A/T counterweight. The counterweight from a Cosmo 13B RE will also work.

You'll still need the front counterweight. The FD flywheel will work, but a TII or NA flywheel should be much easier to find, as well as being much cheaper. The TII and FD flywheel won't work with the NA clutch.
