I have some pics of what are supposedly FD rotor housings. They have a few differences versus other housings i've seen. See the areas circled in green. I am wondering if it would be smart to try and replicate these features on earlier housings. I think the grooves in the legs are to better hold the sealant, but the groove in the coolant jacket i dont know what it could be for?

FYI, I just checked my 95 FD housings and they do have those features.

yeah all the fd's are like that, its neat, but not really worth the trouble to do that to an older housing

Anybody care to speculate what the grooves are for? I think i'm gonna modify my 13B RE housings in this way. Its not exactly a lot of work...
