Maybe there used for extreme high revs or boost? I’m sure they would of looked better if they were finished. I personally would like to hear from people who use them and their experiences with such a ports .

My ruff-in and Rick Engman's turbo port.
This is more like it was done on my engine , you dont want to go real high on the for late closing.

I wasn't going to post this as it didn't look like people where interested, but the forum has been so helpful that I feel that I owe it to every one for all there help.
That port look good on the opening side but closing is a bit wide and high , keep in mind the port timing on the exhaust is very critical.

Thanks for the help 13BT
I basically want dawn by about 2mm and then I ported away the factory bevel on the closing edge like Judge ITO suggested, in terms of the width I left it stock. The only thing that is different is that I have squared of the top corners for an experiment to see how it goes.
Have you got yours up and running yet? I ‘m also doing something similar to you so emissions are not a problem but if you could do it again, what would you do differently?

Not yet , I still need to order the oversize stud kit for it so my builder can mill the steel and housing and a few other mods to the front and rear steel for more oil volume to the stat's .as per my engine builder and Ito's advice I wouldn't chage a thing on the exhaust side but what I am going to change after I get it up and running and it time to freshen up the engine would be going semi-pp with bridge on the sec . Good Luck with your build and keep them rotors turning !

Really? It looks to me that the closing side is just a tad over stock, width too.
Where are you guys getting your stud kits?
