Thanks 13BT, i have red through those posts before, what i was looking for was more aimed at what sort of ports people were using for drag racing, so I could see what was different but Tom has given me a very good idea now but thanks for going through the trouble of finding those posts for me.

That's a little closer to how I do mine. I Don't believe in a ginormous exhaust port; my idea is that opening the port early reduces the stroke duration.
