basically if you're stuck with the stock ecu, you just leave it plugged in. it has no way to know if its actually pumping oil or not, and disconnecting it causees all kinds of limp homes with the ecu. so you just leave it plugged in and its happy


+1. Found out yesterday on a customer's 89 model car that he had to do that. He moved the OMP wiring back to the firewall and plugged the OMP in there out-of-sight.

Was that a chassis dyno or an engine dyno? And what fuel was used?

chassis dyno, not sure about the fuel, if its our fuel it would have been 87-89, the track sells 93... no higher than that



stock port 89-91 engine, 9.7 rotors, stock intake, custom paul yawesque header, 3" exhaust, haltech e6x.



split was defaulted at 10
