it slips over the eshaft bolt, and then uses 2 of the 4 bolts on the crank pulley to mechanically keep the eshaft bolt in place.

yeah... i think they came on some of the FCs... i used to have a few lying around the garage. Exactly what is the question here?

 

no question, just buy it, and put it on, so the front bolt doesnt fall out

 

i used a torque wrench to keep mine from falling out.

 

Part number invalid. N350-11-408A is the 2nd gen part and that number works. $9.90 from the factory.



Did you have a problem with one coming loose?

 

the only one i've ever seen come loose was due to an end-play issue. that engine didn't stand a chance no matter what you bolted to the front of it.

 

last time i check the FC it was little loosy goosey before the track day. Some one said you could use the 3rd hen ones?

 

They don't sell Loctite in Kalifornia? Mine needed the torch and a big impact gun and it was only together for a year and maybe 1000 kms.

 

50ft-lb, never have a problem with them coming loose.

 

I tighten by hand until they tell me they want to stop turning. I think it's between 60 and 79 foot pounds. Never had one come loose and the end play is always right on (around .002")
