Actually your torque is 210ftlb, b/c of the ignition, the dyno shows twice as much as it should. that's pretty good numbers

Judge Ito, ign timing is locked at about 26deg btdc, any more or less and power dropped off. AFRs are around 13.0.

Hp is low but so is the rpm at which peak hp is made (7900rpm). If the same torque (169ft/lb @ 7900rpm) was made higher up in the rev range, say 9500rpm, then hp would be closer to 300. Would there be any advantage in higher rpm though? Would it make the car quicker with same torque but at higher rpm? Or would there only be higher frictional losses?

bcrx7, what you say could explain the high wheel torque reading but working backward to calculate torque from hp the numbers don't add up?

I still haven't caught up with the dyno operator yet to ask him.

What side seals did you use on the rotors?

Hey Chris I used the standard side seals but milled out the corner seal holes for oversize corner seals. This got the side to corner seal clearance down to about 3thou. I didn't know about the longer side seals at the time.

Too much clearance still. Loosing a lot of compression especially for a na setup.
