any one has any tips and trick on how to use this so its stay on longer better? or just folow the directions?

Use a course carbide burr on the area to give the surface some tooth. Wash with ketone.



Follow container directions.

what's Devcon's official name for this stuff? the one i'm looking at (Plastic Steel® Putty (A)) says:



Limitations: Not recommended for long term exposure to concentrated acids or to organic solvents
