just wondering well on the side seal thing, i just built an engine with new side seals and springs and for some reason it won't turn easily, all the other engines i have built with reused side seals, you could grab the eccentric shaft and spin it fairly easy this one you put the counter wieght or flywheel on and it will spin but not super easy, is this due to new side seals?

You might want to check the bearings... does it kick back? If it does not I would start by checking the mains and rotor bearings. I learned that ont the hard way.

Could be a spring out of position from under a side seal, and or, a bit of carbon not removed from a side seal groove.
