Seeing as how this forum has been so helpful with all the amazing eng. building tips from all you pros out there, I thought I should post some pics to show what you all helped me accomplish. I resurfaced the irons on a large surface grinder at work.

LOOKS GOOD! keep the bugs out of the oil too
Ha,ha, Your more right than you know. Looks like the poor guy won't be able to finish the project for a while so it'll be sitting around for a while after I install it. It's a shame cause I can't wait to tune it and see what #'s he puts down. He's got an s5 hot side with a t4 compressor side. Should work well. Not a bad baffle for free. Got the metal at work and spent about an hour putting it in.

is that exhaust port bevelled?
Yeah, there's a 2mm rad, it's hard to see cause I polished it.

yeah ... i can't wait to see what kind of numbers he puts down, too.
do you have any more shots of the oil pan? especially any close-ups ...
you do some VERY nice work! it's almost a crime to have to use this motor. it looks so pretty.
