Seeing as how this forum has been so helpful with all the amazing eng. building tips from all you pros out there, I thought I should post some pics to show what you all helped me accomplish. I resurfaced the irons on a large surface grinder at work.

Ha,ha, https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif Your more right than you know. Looks like the poor guy won't be able to finish the project for a while so it'll be sitting around for a while after I install it. It's a shame cause I can't wait to tune it and see what #'s he puts down. He's got an s5 hot side with a t4 compressor side. Should work well. Not a bad baffle for free. Got the metal at work and spent about an hour putting it in. Brent |
That baffle looks awesome, consider your idea stolen...

very nice!
i'm amazed how clean those parts are |
Thanks, I'm flattered. Figured it was a good idea since it doesn't interfere with the gasket.

those parts look almost brand new!!
is that exhaust port bevelled? |

those parts look almost brand new!! is that exhaust port bevelled? Yeah, there's a 2mm rad, it's hard to see cause I polished it. Brent |
yeah ... i can't wait to see what kind of numbers he puts down, too.
do you have any more shots of the oil pan? especially any close-ups ... you do some VERY nice work! it's almost a crime to have to use this motor. it looks so pretty. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
Here's some more shots of the engine. I'll take some close ups asap
