What about their other products? The crushed chrome? etc.? Does replating work or not? I think I still need an FD housing... and it seems risky to buy the used housings, when these guys sell re-chromed for $300+.

JHB sucks, had me running around for almost 2 years then gave me some **** FD housings as replacements for my lost s5 t2 housings.

they dont insure there shipments, they dont answer mail, they suck.

avoid them, listen to me, you will be happier and safer buying new housings, you will thank me later.

not so great; um housings deform, they warp, they electrolisis, they shrink... jHB adresses none of that.

Thats just it, it only addresses one wear point, I would also have to wonder about heat dissipation or lack there of, to the rotor housing from a metallic seal..

Thanks, yeah I just got screwed on an ebay fd housing. I would hate to do it again. maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy the new housings. This is only for a project motor, I don't even have anywhere I need to place it yet, so I guess I have some time. But thanks!

I use the Cermet A housings for my car, and they've worked great so far.

When I blew it up, I managed to trash one, and nicked another. Just like any other housing. I'm going to send the nicked one back for resurfacing shortly.

Is there nobody else out there that can resurface housings?
