I have recently taken my motor apart and noticed that there is slight wear on the outer edge of the inside rotor housing. I have had 3 piece apex seals in there for about 39k miles. The wear looks to be from the corner piece of the axel seal. There is also a really small chip on this edge on the exhaust side. My question is if I can reuse this housing or will I have to buy a new one. Is this common? I will try and post some pictures of it later today so you can get a better idea what I am talking about. Thanks in advance.

The chipping chrome is common. I don't know exactly how bad they have to require replacement but some chipping is ok. Alot of chipping is not.
