DRS porting any motor that extensivly will COST LOTS OF MONEY. like i stated i only want a mild engine that will drive EVERY day with no problems. PP's are unreliable but do make tons of power. I also said that i do not want to dish out that kind of money if i was i would say the hell with N/A and make the same or more power on a turbo swap which would still run on pump gas and get a hell of a lot better MPG than a PP.

Good day

i do understand the port physics and that is why it works better up high under full throttle and down low it is good driveabty this type of engine done over here by myself and a few other workshops and have gr8 results and it is not costly to do but the other way is bridge the primary ports and stage the secondrys and use what you got or just stage all the ports then you get what you want like you get a power incress good mpg and reliable but dont forget to do the exhaust ports aswell and a good exhaust system but i dont know what emmissions laws you have

jonlax, take a look at the dyno slip section of this forum for ideas on your n/a setup according to how much power you want....

d.r.s, what intake and exhaust are you running on that engine of yours? any dyno slips? what ecu? pics even? also, chainsawonsteriods has the privilege to post anything he wants about you because it is his opinion, he didn't personally attack you, and this is a message/discussion board. don't get worked up over someone (like you said) you have never met before....

finally, what's so unreliable about a 'p' port?

I've never seen a 13b 6port bridgeport in NZ run quicker than mid 13s which is pretty shameless when there are 12a 4port bridgeports running high 12s. You speak of high hp engines and fast cars you've built but I have yet to see anything go down the quartermile. Prove me wrong and show us your dyno sheets and time slips?

Jonlax a decent 13b street port tuned by someone who knows what they're doing will give you the power and reliability you want, along with good drivability and reasonable fuel economy. If correctly tuned and maintained you'll easily get 60k miles plus.

"""""so what is hard about linking the two ports to make one port then doing a full lenght bridge port? and what is hard about getting a 12a tall port ctr pl8 and takeing it to a engineer and getting the water seals machine into the pl8 then bridge porting the ctr pl8? and what is so hard about port maching the inlet manafold to the ctr pl8? it should take a day for all the porting the only you be waiting for is the engineer

and to (chainsawonstiods dude) what gives you the right to say what you z do you know NO have i meet you NO so shut the fu@k up and wht said is for a n/a and not turbo

and dont nock it until you try it as this engine is reliably as any other engine

""""""

What are you talking about? You have said plenty of things without providing proof which everyone has asked you about. Cool your skirt!
