You would need a port that is optimal for your turbo. Are you using the stock one?

you want to have enouf low end and midrange to have the car abkle to loose traction without goign inot astronomical rpm range which takes some time. its more about response then power when drifting and you dont need insane amounts of power.

i'm gonna do a motor like that soon, its gonna be stock primary with the secondary opened up to fd specs (its gotta pass smog too), and the exhaust can get opened up a tad, mine will prolly be stock though, cause of smog

using an s5 hotside with a t04e front side for a turbo

should do about 10-12psi and 270-280 rwhp
