Although these puppies make super sense and provide a great solution to a recurrent problem, I cannot afford the cost anymore than I can afford the cost of getting Ianettis as my Apex seals.

Yep, As soon as I received the price sheets I was in SHOCK!

 

For a coolant seal that is as complete as those seem to be that is a justifiable price I think. I'm guna talk to my schools motorsport team about them when I get down to school this fall.



They run a bridgeported FB for autorossing.

 

Another excellent idea that should have been mass produced just as Racing Beat's aluminum side housings should have been. I hope some racers with Mazdacomp membership can convince Mazdaspeed and/or Mazdacomp to mass purchase these and hopefully get us a discount. Hey wait, discount and Mazdspeed don't go together (hehee)

 

Banzai you have a great product there. I hope that with time the price will drop due to increased sales so that the average Joe can afford them. I really like the product and am in the middle of a rebuld at this time, but I think that they would be overkill for my application. Maybe you can market these to engine builders and race teams like RX7.com or Gotham Racing. I bet these places would be great to help offset the initial cost. Try calling them and see what they say. It can't hurt and may help them to win more races in their rotary powered vehicles. Good luck and keep up the good work.

 

Were the teflon encapsulated ones so bad for you that you want to spend $580 I used them and I had problems keeping them in place with hylomar. Switched to vaseline and it was a breeze.

 

I think these are a little better engineered than just teflon encapsulation. Thats where the pricetag comes from.

 

Yeah, but is it really necessary even for a high dollar motor if the teflon ones work just as well and can be reused.

 

guys, these are nuclear grade products. They probably have nuclear ISO standards. You can probably trace it up to where the Silver was smelted and what country the silver came from.
