I'll be one of those mule engines, John. I have to tear mine down to track down a low compression problem on my rebuild so I'll be happy to test them out. My engine is both daily driven and hopefully achieving 500+rwhp multiple times. If I can't blow them up, then they won't blow up.

Hey. If you want me to test in a problem engine, I will be rebuilding my 400+ HP 3rd gen on May 23. Despite perfectly spec'd parts this engine has failed because of O ring failure three times. There were no indications of extreme overheating or heating/cooling failures. One failure occured after 200 miles, one after 35,000 after consistently higher than wanted temps (90 to 98C with a PFC set to turn on the fans at 86C) and this last time after 300 miles. I have upgraded the cooling system to an aluminum radiator, new hoses as well as a spec'd and tested water pump. Water wetter is planned for summer use in a 85/15 mix of water and standard antifreeze. The ambient temps here in the summer are around 90 with about an average humidity in the 80 percent range. Hell on cooling systems. The car will be used as a daily driver as well as being subjected to autox and some light drag nights. If the car does well, it may be road coursed by the end of the season.



I have fired my engine builder and I will be doing it myself (well me and three certified techs) this time.

See my cardomain site for a rundown on the car itself. The engine is heavily streetported and there have never been any internal failures other than the O rings.



I would be very happy to help out testing this product and would be willing to document (videotape and digital photos) the building process.

The suppliers was unable to meet my target price, so for the first 10 sets I am selling the seals at cost + shipping/paypal charges. I realize these are expensive, but I feel the qulity is worth it.
