right now I have a half bp motor that was built by BDC. we are going to be freshing it up. Im thinking of going to full bp. I have not been around a full bp turbo car, so I though I would ask how much differnt it would be VS my current setup.

will it make the turbo spool faster?

can I use the Rotary Aviation apex seals that I have or do I need to change to 1 piece? the RA seals look like they will work cause where they are cut in two. its not near the edge like factory seals are.

any info or advice would be great

thanks

you can use the corner peice of the apex on a bridge, the seal is in its place very tightly and as long as the bridge wall is there everythign should be ok.

we changed the porting of the secondary bports about 2 months ago we got the motor together and its got a ninja water leak. we are thinking that the rotor housings are warped. we had them powder coated sliver and thinking that heating them to 450 for 25 min has warped them. we are going to changed to housings that have not been coated yet.

and while it was apart the next level is full bp so we are trying to desided if we will step up to full bp. I want to see how a full bp turbo car does. if it does not work out will change out the center iron and go with half. but you never know how it works till you try it.

and noone has posted about anyone else using full bp turbo.

Only full turbo bps I have seen are drag only 8/9sec cars. There is a guy up here running twin t66s on a full bp. Single digit fd.

A mate of mine runs the Datsun 1200 in Australia with a full Bridge Port Turbo. It went 8.15@163mph with around 26psi being used on that run.
