I have a 94 mazda RX-7 touring. With 96,000 miles on it. I am interested in making a daily driver street car out of it that will be sligtly tuned. I was wondering what would be the best route. I know i want it street ported, Should I rebuild the engine and street port it, would that make it reliable for another 100,000 miles. Or should i get a new rotary engine and have it street ported. I have a few thousand right now for the car, and so far i only have HKS downpipe, Blitz Nur spec Exhaust, spark plug wires, and plugs, turbo timer, and boost guage.

thanks for any advice and help

the key to reliablity is to make judgements on the engine parts you have. sure your 96k housings might look ok, but will they go for another 96k? also making sure that everything is assembled properly, and within specs is key
