I Think I can see what you mean you want to do... Remove the metal in the 'red' part of the picture to join(or bridge as you put it) the secondary and auxillary ports up, but leave the sleeve in?
Sorry to say but it sounds like a very silly port design.. no offence.

Im about one incomprehendable post away from putting it in much less nice terms...
if you are gonan join those two ports as to cut down the red area? you are gonan have pretty much the whole aux port open all the time since there will be a pretty big gap up under the sleeve or above the sleeve, howwever u think about it. so leaveng that sleeve in there wont do anythign as to give u some more top end later because of teh added air flow. you are just gonan kill your low end dramatically. this is if i am even understanding this right

Be serious, be thorough, and be clear on exactly what you hope to accomplish with this. It it takes more than a few sentences, so be it. From what you have posted so far, you do not have a clue what youre talking about and you have no idea why things are done like their in this engine.

Sorry if i sound like an idiot, its kinda hard to explain, i'll have pics when after i start grinding. How about this question, can you make the bowl of the port 90 degrees the outside runner wall being one ray and the oil seal side wall the other ray, or is there water behind where the port bowl starts its upward curve.
Unrelated: Got any tips on bowl shapping? most of the ones ive seen posted are pretty deep/steep angle compared to stock.

The whole idea of bowl porting is to make the transition from the runner to the port as smooth as possible. Keep the basic shape of it stock. Its very close to the ideal shape. Just smooth it out some.
And do yourself a favor, and look at LOTS of pics of what works as far as porting. There are tons of pics floating around this forum, and THEY WORK. There are some truly talented people people here when it comes to porting. They know best. You do not. This is something where you need to listen to the experts. We're trying to prevent you from making stupid mistakes.
