50% meth/alky?

how about doing 50% alky and 50% pump fuel? been done? work well?

it leaves a nasty aftertaste on the steaks, but the bbq starts rapidly.....

Mike, not sure. Howard's doing somewhere around a 60/40 ratio of fuel to alcohol. Last time I checked, mine was 67/33 thereabouts at the end of the tune. Changing the ratio, IMO, throws a monkey wrench into the equation in terms of not only target A/F ratio but also what kind of advance can be run. It'd strike me that with richer alcohol, you can run more advance.

i'm thinking about something dumb.... turbo na, stock ecu, fix it with alcohol....

I've done that on a few cars mikey, and total cost was $3... Price of methanol.

i'm way too lazy to pull out the stock stuff, unless you're saying i can just put meth in the gas tank...

On a street car you're better off just running a pinch, aka AUXILIARY injection..



I have run a lot more like 30%, and in my experience if you are running that much you have something else wrong with your system...
