I only said it once, and I said "to me knowledge." There was no reference to a website for Precision Enginnering on the Hitmans site, which is where I found the contact information for that.

thought i had replied to this.

the shorter 3 rotor would be very beneficial for someone not wanting to hack a good bodied old school rotary. i dont know how much shorter it is, but im guessing its about a side plates width shorter or about 2 1/2 inches. that prob fit nicely in a REPU...

It probably would fit well in an REPU. So who has a spare REPU that needs a 3 rotor 13B?

if you're trying to build a real 20b though all the side housings and the eshaft are different, its actually cheaper just to buy the real 20b.
he's not saying he's gonna do it he's just asking about it or wants a confirm if you really can do this, would make a good REPU sleeper

and hell...like you said why not just go buy a 20B

I'm highly tempted to put my 20B in my white REPU. But all those carefully laid plans would go to waste. Decisions decisions.

i would at least measure it out if i ever found a REPU. jeff, on that cosmo, does the engine bay look like it could fit a 20B. either a REPU or a cosmo i wouldnt mind. althouugh, i might go see an RX4 this weekend. id sell my 61 ghia to get either. hmm, maybe i should take some measurements on the ghia....

The engine bay of a Cosmo is quite large. The 13B is dwarfed in there. The REPU is smaller, but still doable to some extent. The stock twins would fit great in a REPU because the idler arm is on the outside. You'll have to eat the extra engine length mostly rearward, if not completely rearward.

A 20B would probably hang out the back of a ghia.
