just to add, ive used lynn's silicon idea on a few engines. so far it works great*. i have also had the opportunity to discover that if you really use a bunch of silicon, it will actually protect the inner water seals, and they will come out looking new, if the "tuner" blows the engine quick enough



*stock mazda o rings work really well, mazda oring + silicon = i think bulletproof
