my stance on it is this. the factory uses only silicon, so you should too.

seems like it would be a pretty big PITA to clean off if the engine were to come apart again though...



have a good technique for that??

side grinder with brass brissled brush. That'll take it off REAL quick. I cleaned up the outsides of my rotor housings with this...WOW...they started to SHINE.
