Woo hoo! Yesterday I went autocrossing for the first time in months. Not in my car though. Me and a buddy dual drivered his dad's sleeper 914. I was in a car with a 1/3 of the power and 1,000 less pounds than my car. Gotta love those 914's. Freakin' go-karts they be.

I've been doing it for a little over a year now... lots of fun.. I'm having trouble with the Miatas though!!

I want to try one of these track days I heard about on here from Amp and Vosko.

2nd gen's handle great BTW, you just need to wake up their tired old suspensions

Alas, the 914 I drove was a stock fuel injected 2.0 that's been modded a bit. It has around 120rwhp so it's no slouch, but a 6 in there would definitely liven it up. The chassis and suspension was definitley in need of a lot more power.

The FC's handle great. Mine does at least. Especially since I've done just about everything there is to do with it suspension-wise. But I think it's a better open track handler than a autocross handler. I mean it does well enough at autocross. With a better driver than me behind the wheel it can get some pretty decent times. But when I take it to lapping days is when it really shines.

Mmmmmmm, seattime.
