I pretty much started this year, although I did go once last year. It is much fun, and I have met lots of cool people. The suspension on my 88 n/a is stock except for some 225 Yoko's. I have some KYB adjustables I haven't installed yet, I figured I would just wait and put them on my TII when its ready. I'm sure the stiffer suspension would help, but I just need more seat time

Where abouts in Flrodia are you? SCCA has quite a few different regions in Florida - Central Florida, Gulf Coast, Buccaneer, Florida, and Dixie.

There is one at the Metro Zoo although I hear its not too good of a location.

The one we attend a lot is on Palm Bay. Just South of Melbourne. The next one there is July 20th. I will be missing that one I will be in Atlanta that weekend.

I will be at the August one its on the 17th of August. You are welcome to tag along with us and race. I'll start a thread at the beginning of next month.

My dad comes out with his 3rd gen. I race my TII and Mazdadrifter races his TII and Matt (Pettitman) comes out and runs his GXL. With Matt you never know when he will convince Cameron to come out with a 3 Rotor and run. I am waiting for that day.

There is one in Ft. Meyers too. I'll post up some links for you later.

There is also an open track day this weekend at Moroso with the Porsche BMW Club of America. Evolution driving school will be there. They will be doing an Autocross style driving school on the skid pad then moving you onto the track as a novice if you are interested I 'll post up info on that too.

I might try to go on Sunday to say hi to the instructors.

This weekend at Moroso the Porsche BMW owners of America will be having an open track day. I am not sure how it works but I know the people from Evolution Driving School will be there. They are really cool. They will having an Autocross set up and will be teaching basic priciples of car control.

These guys look cool too. I have not looked into them but will probably do an open track day this winter with them.

Im going to my first autocross the 27th of this month. I plan on watching

a few first and try to take a class or two, before jumping into to it. I have not done it yet, but it seems a whole lot more interesting than drag racing. I plan to upgrad the radiator and get an extra set of tires, then im jumping in!
