wha wha wha, you guys are too soft with your "Lets all pay money to cone dodge" attitudes.

Where i come from track/off street drifting is not a luxury we get. So we take it to the street and you hit things every now and then. its not such a big deal. imean sure someone i know went through this kids play equipment onetime but thats about the worst of it(moraly).

I have hit a powerpole at about 70 causing $6500 damage etc.... cars get written off blah blah and you guys are whinging about this guy hitting a mail box and giving "drifters" a bad image.

you are all giving them a bad image with your uncoolness and "rules" of drifting.
i love jack.

yeah i wasnt intentionally drifting. couldnt brake before the corner so the car went into it too fast, turned, oversteered, car goes sideways. damn.
You were driving through a housing estate, not racing in the the Monaco Grand Prix - you should have been nowhere near a speed where you could lose the back end. You blame it on not being able to brake (whatever that means). If you were going a reasonable speed you would have been able to stop regardless of what was on the road, unless you were driving a car with faulty brakes - which is an even more reckless thing to do.

I'm trying my hardest not to sound like I am getting on a high horse, but what if it was a kid instead of a mailbox? If I were you I certainly wouldn't be making excuses and blaming brakes, more like consider myself extremely lucky to have gotten away with it and make sure it would never happen again.

dammit i already said i wasnt drifting. i was just driving the bitch fast and took a corner too fast due to NO braking whatsoever. i can go to the industrial district for street drift.

And even drifters ****** hit **** so stfu.
I think you missed everyone's point. Have you not read the thread? It doesn't matter what you did or didn't. The point is, drifting in a neighborhood is bad. Regardless of what equipment you have. Take that crap to rx7club. When you decide to get off the cellphone and drive your kids to soccer practice in something other than an SUV you can come back.

Just because drifters hit stuff doesn't mean its ok for you to go almost killing kids while they play in front of their house.

You took the corner too fast? Hrm, actually it doesn't sound like the reason you got into a wreck was because you didn't have brakes, but rather because something was wrong with your gas pedal. Maybe you should have that fixed, it might be too heavy. Yeah industrial district street drifting, kill a robot or something instead of a kid. Next time you go driving maybe your parents should ride with you. Let me ask you this, would you go driving like that with your parents in the car with you? I highly doubt it. Would you drive like taht with your girlfriend in the car with you? A young child? Your youth paster? Not only were you endangering the life of yourself you could have killed a passenger or someone playing in the street. What if you hit a pregnant mother? Then how would you feel? I seriously think you need to go to confession for what you've done, and if you don't understand why what you did was so bad then you should probably just go kill yourself because obviously you have no conscience or morals. It's people like you that cause my insurance rates to be high and cops to be such ********.

Anyways i'm done yelling at some little 15 year old who thinks they can drive because they got their learners permit, i'm gonna go eat a few werther's originals left over from easter now that i just found. They're seriously some of my favorite candies of all times. I remember back when i was really little and used to take piano lessons i would never practice. So as an incentive to get me to practice my parents would give me one werthers at the beginning of practice. I would just suck on it and it would help get my mind off the rigors of practice.

So are you saying its ok to hit construction workers? What if there were construction workers building the house, or maybe a family coming to look at their house in progress.
