Yahoo!!!! I took the Fastest time of the day! I even got the fastest PAX time of the day. As usual they left me in my class BP all by myself. So the guy in AP would not miss his 1st place trophy.
Get this - Mazdadrifter took 1st place in SM2 which is a very competative class. Then he was robbed. A mystery cone seems to have appeared out of no where and was added to his official time. Which was total BS. Now the funny part.
Mazdadrifter was in his 10th with a new suspension not dialed in at all and some heavy *** Victoracers on 16" BBS rims weighing 45lbs per corner. He never messed with his tire pressure at all either.
He took 2nd in his class by a tenth of a second after the cone penalty and he wasnt even trying.
Way to go Mazdadrifter!!!
The Z-06 with the National champ at the wheel didnt show but a couple of really fast cobras came. Out I was running 29.25-29.80 all day then one of the Cobras ran a 28.8xx and it looked like I was out of the FTD. BUT low and behold, I realized I was only boosting 8-10 PSI somehow I had set my AVCR to a gradual boost mode. I tweeked it out and got the boost back to 14 PSI and that was all I needed to get a 28.5xx and the FTD. That crushed the Cobra guy my friends said they saw him sneek over and look over my car after the runs while I was working.
He was running 12 wide rims w/ 12" wide hoosiers too and is about 500 lbs lighter than me so I was pretty stoked I took him.
The F-body got a best time of 29.7xx as well as some other vettes out there.
Sorry no vid and no pics it was a busy busy day. I am now a qualified safety stewart for future events as well I took the Safety Sterart class at lunch time when I would normally be snapping pics. I forgot my camcorder at home this morning too. Sorry!!

thanks for saying something jim, I kindof started to wonder if I was totally out of line with that whole argument. I'm going to take my camcoder and have our runs video'd next time.
Guess that's what I get for beating the event coordinator's butt budy
The most aggrivating thing of it all is that I show up totally unprepared but wanting to have fun, didn't touch my tire pressures, didn't touch my shocks, didn't touch my camber/caster plates, just showed up to drive. .... I run a good time, which makes me have more fun, and then they take it away so this guy can have his $10 trophy at the end of the year and put it on his resume, I think is just downright shitty.
I was thinking about just punching all kinds of people until I got to the right one, but later decided that I'd just show up at every local event and beat him from here on out.
******* douche bags.
