Does anyone know where to get the replacement button for the FC eBrake that allows you to shut the locking mechanism off? I've seen one on eBay awhile back and have seen them on a couple of FC drift cars.

if you want to do it the el cheepo way..just take off the button, remove the spring that pops the putton out and put the button back on..granted youll have to remember to pull the button out when you pull the park break and park. I had this done on my AE86 when i got it..its no big deal and helps out a lot

what you looking for though is called a spin turn **** if memory serves

There is a slight design difference in the one I'm speaking of. It has a lip on the edge so that you can easily pull it back out when you do want to lock it in place.

Yeah I am not sure where to get one in the States but you can buy them everywhere here in Tokyo about 15 bux if I remember right. They are not inspection legal without the spring so every two years I have to find a damn spring to put back in there. I almost never use my side brake so I really don't need one other than it looks cool.. Now, however I have Rigid transmission mounts and My mission has seen better days the damn **** vibrates and makes noise so now I drive around with my hand on it all the time.

Oh yeah and they call it a Spin Turn ****. Another thing you can do is wrap tape arond the button so it is pushed in all the time and take it off when you need it for parking.......Pain in the *** but cheap and effective.....
