Do you have specific tires for drifting? If so, what?

I have my old 15" wheels and tires from my GTU that I use to practice. Just curious what others are using.

I use Falken Azenis ST115 or Dunlop Direzza. Normally I put them all the way around for competitions. I have recentley started using 235/40/17" in the front with nice results. The rear for street and practice I will use almost anything I can get my hands on. Tires are so expensive and I use about two tires a month.

Right now I have 235/45/17" Goodyear Ducaro's on the back. I also have a pair of 215/45's but they are on 8J rims so I just keep them as spares. Two weeks ago in the rear I had 255/40's they kinda sucked for drifting but they were cheap so....... It all depends where I am gonna drive really. Touge has a lot of traction so I use lower traction tires, circuit is slick and speed is a requirement so I use higher traction.

Normally I get the best tire I can for the front and from now on that will be a 235/40 size. The rear I try to keep the same but at around 300$ for two tires I have to get used tires to rip up on .

I'm gonna try the Falken Azenis ST-115's in a 225-45-17. I was debating between these and the Yoko ES100's. I was previously using the AVSintermediates and I liked them, but I found the Falken's for $350 for a set of 4.

I ran 225/45/17 before and I liked the configuration. After doing some Grip Races and Drift Events with D1 drivers and other Pro's I noticed that they all ran larger tires than me and they all had more traction so I decided to switch to the 235 and try it. The Azenis Kick ***.....they don't last very long on the back especially if your alignment is off but the will wear for a while in the front and give lots of grip and control.
