I'd learn on those 712's and once you feel like you're ready, go to wider, lighter wheels with autox slicks.



I think Jims car is in B prepared, he should be able to give you good advice.

Stick with the street tires until you are about 1-2 seconds slower than the winner then switch to Autocross tires. Kumho makes good resonably priced tires. I like the Victoracers personally but they have another model a V700 I think that people like too.



Get the hawk brake pads. The street / Autocross ones they are really good.



How serious are you about this?



If you are really seriuos and can spend some money I can suggest a few more mods.



BTW - I didn't see a boost controler in the mods list do you have one?

the car is going to run a manual boost controller and a ported wastegate....

the car isnt running as of yet but i will put a new motor in this winter prob

and i definitley wanna auto x in the spring.

i will definitely be spending some money. :bigok:
