Well if you must know ....
I make WAY more horsepower with my 62-1, have lower underhood temps, have more reliability, and have more of an advantage when I turn the boost up to 1.3 Kilos vs. ANY stock twins...BNR or not.
SINGLE TURBO = SIMPLE
SIMPLE = LESS CLUTTER
LESS CLUTTER= LESS **** THAT CAN GET FUCKED UP
LESS **** THAT CAN GET FUCKED UP = LESS MONEY I HAVE TO SPEND ON REPAIRING THE FUCKED UP ****
LESS MONEY I HAVE TO SPEND ON REPAIRING THE FUCKED UP **** = MORE MONEY TO BUY GO FASTER PARTS.

first off this is a great thread, thanks mazdabation for starting it, it was pretty much alot of the same questions I was spewing, but here's my question, anybody got sites to check specs on individual turbo's? Manufacturer websites, etc? Price's are especially nice, or should I just go bother a shop owner? hehe...
Ah well, I think the GT 35/40 sounds the nicest to me, I want quick low-end and a moderate high-end, anyone have a comparison to the BNR upgraded twins vs. the GT 35/40 in terms of HP/lag?

I've ridden in T-0R4's boost 1.3 Kilos+ with ported engine and let me tell you....it's pretty frightening.
