What Would You Pay....

Thank you lane_change. I didn't have to type all that.
He basically summed it up for you kevin. Also what about a FPR bracket. There is alot of different variables. Its not just cut lines put on fittings. There is a decent amount of work/research that needs to be done to make everything work. As for FD's I think Keith pretty much has that taken care of. Many people are running his setups without any problems/complaints. Maybe you guys could do an FC setup...I don't know. But those are just some things to consider when making your kit.

Well let me set the record straight a little on this, Somebody added a few more words than should have been. By "Complete" he meant the engine bay, not the entire car. Selling a complete kit including the tank to engine bay lines and all required fittings, brackets and mounts would put this well over the average drivers cost, and abilities. This is being thrown out to see if there was any intrest in an alternitive to the high cost aftermarket fuel rails that are currently available for the FC. R&D is being done to use common aftermarket FPR's like the Aeromotive 13301 Fuel pressure regulator. Basically the kit would consist of the fuel rails, lines to and from FPR, brackets, mounts, spacers etc for the mounting of this fuel rail. I am also looking at just rails with barbed fittings on the rails to be used on the stock fuel system as well. The FD market is pretty well taken care of and we are not trying to reinvent the wheel now folks, but what we are trying to do is give FC owners the ability to have an alternitive. I agree Kevin approached this the wrong way in this post, but stay tuned for more details in the near future. I am currently looking at 2 kits, one using -6 lines and fittings, and for the guys like me looking to go over the 500 hp mark a -10 setup using twin pumps.
As far as the R&D on fuel rails your right its not that hard to jam 2 fittings in a piece of pipe, but being able to pick up a set of fuel rails for your FC for a lot less than most aftermarket companies, I see a market. A full kit for a FC similar to what I am designing for my own car would put the price well over the $1500 mark. I cannot see that for the guys owning a FC or for guys with only basic wrenching skills.
So with all that being said, let me try this again.
WHo would be intrested in a FC fuel rail kit (AN -6 or -10 or barbed connection for stock lines), FC Fuel rail kit with AN fittings and lines, or a FC Fuel rail kit with AN lines, fittings, FPR, mount and hardware to mount to the stock fuel system?
gauging the market will make this a lot easier as to what we need to R&D

Amen to all that!
Best case is to make it and test on your own car...amazing how many tweaks happen. And don't forget math. As far as I know not many people have a 'resistance factor' for the their aftermarket setups.
I think Keith's rails are the sheet!
