I got a friend that wants to know what to mod on his car and he already has exhaust and intake, fuel cutoff, now he wants a boost control. He really wants to know what to mod next and what to get but not to expensive. He is looking for more power but he doesn't really race. What can you guys recommend?

He needs to remove the FCD. It puts a bad link in the chain and makes the car a potential 'time bomb'. I think he ought to have the entire radiator and surrounding area sealed for ducting purposes to drop oil and water temperatures as well as increase the amount of load he can put on the car without it getting too hot, replace his S4 alternator with an S6 FD3S alternator, remove the stock clutch fan and shroud and replace it with an electric unit (a certain type, mind you), as well as use an electronic boost controller such as a GReddy PROfec B.

Anything else on the turbo/boost side honestly requires a bit of a jump if it ever wants to run properly and reliably under heavy load.

If hes looking to turn up the boost then he needs to check his fuel system. Rewire the fuel pump as well as upgrade it, put in fpr and upgrade the secondary injectors. Also what BDC said...those are good reliability mods especially about the fan. Theres a few ways to go with that.....you can do the junk-yard mod (fiero e-fans) or the top quality way (black magic flexlite)
