Unhappy

Hey guys,

I got a series 3 Rx7 and I have been trying to do it up for the last couple of years. I the end of it all I am going to take up some classic rallys I hope.

So anyway I found this guy selling a Eaton Supercharger that has been adapted to a Rx7. The Eaton are more used on V6 from the impression I got. It also has a Quadrajet V8 Carby. I was just woondering if anyone has tried to adapot these types of sueprchargers to a rotary and just what you think.

It was originally fitted to a Rx3 and we are slight concerned there is not enough room to fit it in. (height wise) becuase the charger sit on top of the engine where I think with the Camdam chargers there right over to the side.

Model: Eaton M62 Supercharger

Its a bit dodgy now but we are cleaning everything up and getting proper gaskets and get most parts power coated in red.

anyway here is a picture to: all up we got the complete kit with pulleys for $650 AUD which is a bargin concidering the supercharger it self cost $2,800 without the manifolds.

Best thing to do is go to www.pacperformance.com.au and ask the boy's if they have any kits to fit your engine with the supercharger. If not they could make you something.

Anyway why would you want to supercharge it. Rotary's make power in the high rpms, why would you need boost so early?

Early boost . . . mmmmm, torque and throttle response . . . like having a bigger NA. Maybe he just isn't ready for an LS1 swap and chose to charge the 13B for this reason.

4 rotor rocket is here too! His name is 3rotorrocket on the other site. I see he is getting a reputation here.
