I have a bridgeport 13B and need to lock out the vaccum advance on my distributor. Does anyone have any experience with doing that, or know where I can get detailed instructions?

um if you take the cap and rotor off, the vacuum advances are only on there with a little "c" clip

All you have to do is unplug the vacuum hoses from the canister to do that. After that just plug the hoses off with caps or something so you don't have a vacuum leak.

That applies. Now if you are looking to lock out the centrifugal advance then you are going to have to open up the distributor and weld the weights open. reassemble and you are done

Set timing.

Have fun.

hope this helps.
