Check the link out. Click next two pics to see how I ran my set up. The reason why I went this route was the 1st gen carb fuel tank had 3/8 fuel line/hose to the motor. EFI external pumps need at least 7/16 fuel hose to the pump. This was easier for me and also put the two pump closer to the injectors. SDS (sdsefi.com) has a good write up on how to and why for converting carb cars to efi.
