yeah me too. all ive been doin is poring a bottle of castral 2stroke in the tank when i fill up. but i think i oil fouled a plug because it runs like sh** at first. once warmed up tho she goes like hell for an n/a!!
n/a...I thought you were turbo'd...with the n/a, I'd put just a little bit in since n/a's are more reliable.

I've been using the Protec R from Pettit for 2 years now, especially since I've went with the Haltech and it doesn't operate the OMP (30%). 4oz. bottle to every fill up.

Do you notice anything different at a lower level of fuel? My car tends to smoke alot anyways especially when low on fuel.

That just sounds like the premix that didn't mix w/ the gas. I never run my car too low on gas so can't say I've had the problem.

Thats what I do except everyother fillup. Until my coolant seals went out though..I'm syssed though I just got my free Viton oil rings in the mail today. The engine will be out this week and on to the porting I go.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my NA and have decided to disable the OMP, I've removed the OMP drive gear + shaft and installed a block off plate. I've also installed a plug in the passage from the front housing to the front cover which provides the oil pressure to the OMP shaft/pump. This should lower rotating mass in addition to eliminating the OMP altogether, I am wondering if anyone has also eliminated the CAS when moving to a haltech or other aftermarket ECU and eliminated the drive gear which goes on the eccentric shaft (it's pretty dense) and replaced it with an equivalent spacer. I know you can put a hall effect sensor / wheel on the front of the crank with the aftermarket ECU's, anyone have any experience with this / comments on results?

Even more off-topic, have any of you replaced the exhasut port sleeves with ones that don't have the holes for the EGR gasses? Do they exist and if so where can I get them? I'm considering removing mine and welding in the holes then grinding them down smooth (and reinstalling them of course). My S4 LIM doesnt cover up all the exhaust gas passages that are on the S5 housings (particularly the intermediate) so I just want to elminate the source of the exhaust gas while also improving the flow characteristics of the exhaust port sleeves.

Most ECU's will work with the stock CAS. So it's usually a non-issue. My old TEC II used the wheel on the front with the 2 magnetic sensors. It wasn't that hard to set up.

You'll probably have to modify the sleeves yourself. I've never heard of anyone who makes such a sleeve. While you're at it you can remove that diffuser.
