I have been looking around on different sites trying to find a complete system for exhaust and the one setup I found was nice but was a 2 inch pipe diameter. What would work best for a N/A car? 2 or 2.5 inches? I know turbos can run with 3 or bigger but for mine what would you suggest? What have you guys done for your rides? I had a z a while back and had a 2.5 on it and it worked great. Just wondering if with a rotary what size would be best. Thanks.

What I found worked best for my N/A BP 6 Port was 2.25" , 36" long primaries and a 3" collector, 18" long. For the street application I tapered back to 2.25" after the collector and ran it through a 3" straight through turbo muffler. It was loud. For the most power I opened the header after the 18" collector at the track.

sorta depends on the power level. a stock port motor na should be just fine with a 2.5" setup. for a ported engine you want to start thinking about a 3"

Cool thanks guys. Did you just use a universal muffler or did you get a specific brand? I personally like magnaflow but I was wondering what yall think sounds good. Thanks.

I used a universal but you might want to take a look at those new presilencers and universal mufflers from Racing Beat. The muffler is only $94. You cant beat that. Specially since it is designed to take the heat of our engines.

For the most sound for your buck, try out a Corksport headerback NA system. Guarentee'd to keep the neighborhood dialing 911 when you come home from work.
