I was looking at turbo intakes and I came across the Pettit. Has anyone used this and if so how has it worked out for you?

If this is not a good one, could someone recommend a good one?

Thanks!

its fine but you couls go to home depot too. the pettit one is 2 k&n cone filters with all the pipes, but its not boxed so you get to hear the blowoffs and the airpump

Do you mean the hardware store "Home Depot"?

I have the TKT intake from Pettit Racing and it greatly reduced intake temps. I highly recommend it. Only problem is that the hood rod will slightly dent the top cone, but nothing of significance that you would want to worry about.

You can buy a copy for less from Roatary Reliability and Racing or you can build your own and buy a RE Amemiya heat shield from jt-imports.

I personaly dislike the Pettit intake. I have to say that I have never owned one. I think this is the cheapest homemade POS onthe market. Yes it functions, yes it will do waht you need, Flterthe air from debris. But I have made the same damn thing a few years ago for about $80. If you want at least a nice wrapper for your expensive cars airbox you should look elsewhere. I would suggest anything is better almost. I like the PFS box the best because of it's size and duribility. My new setup won't allow me to use it anymore though do to space constraints. I am not sure where to go next. Any suggestions? I am fitting in a trust 3 row and a Koyo rad.
