Defintely runs better on the Holley. Makes more midrange power (which I didnt expect), and the part throttle drivablity is much better than the 48mm Weber.

I will try and get some pics soon, we are building a custom 4 rotor, it will actually end up being cheaper then buying an engine from like a 3rd gen and swaping it in. Yup it is getting back halfed. We are aiming for low 8's on pump gas using water injection.
Our other race car the 1982 rx7 with the 302 has been giving me all kinds of trouble though, we put a transbrake in it, and on the first run i broke a 9 inch ford axle, so now i have to order up a set of strange axles for it, damn car keeps taking all the money away from the rx3 lol

I'm also a nitrous mad man.. 2 stage nitrous Rx3 full tube chassis looking to be racing soon. Josh Im glad you took some advice..
Yup, thanks. I finally stopped trying to be cheap and got the extra MSD stuff, and did a freshen up with new side seals, solid corners and Atkins two peice seals as you suggested. Paying close attention to all the measurements during the assembly has netted me a reliable engine on a 175 shot. I bet she'll take more, I just havent had the time to mess with the car.
Got any updated pics of your RX3 Ito? How about your brothers car? The yellow one, "Little Josh". Is it still around? That was a cool car.

I'm just discussing setting up a nitrous system on a PP engine for someone right now. Probably going to be running four foggers and jetting for 400 hp and using a gear-counting nitrous controller to keep traction in order.
Car is first gen with a FI 13B based engine that the owner built himself. Its a pretty fun ride. Tranny is a TII unit (not really ideal for the high rpms of a PP, but it suffices). Not too sure on the rear end... narrowed ford 8.8" sounds familiar.
The juice sure is addictive.
