Hey guys.

I just finished the install of my direct fire setup on my 83 rx7 and for some reason i dont have a constant spark. I have every thing wired correctly(this i know) yet i only get spark from the MSD on my leading when i turn the key off. So the coils charge up( i know cause they get really hot if left on for a few minutes), however the msd is not letting them discharge to create spark untill i acually kill the power to them, which is turn off the key.

I am sorta stumped on this so any input would be super.

Thanks

Just to check it. Switch the leading and trailing pickup wires from leading to trailing and see if it works properly. If it works then you have a bad leading pickup.

Hope this helps.
